How to Prep for Black Friday Travel Deals | Travel Deal Tuesday 2019

Black Friday is easily my favorite holiday. The others are nice too, but there's just something about being up late at night, shopping huge sales, and finally feeling the shift into Christmas season. I mean, how often do you find flights UNDER $20???

Lucky for you, Black Friday travel deals are my jam. And lucky for both of us, SkyScanner has taken the struggle out of the process. Instead of going to each individual site to check for deals, they'll be keeping an ongoing list. Click here for an updated list of flight, hotel, and car rental deals. As deals are announced, they'll be listed on that page.

Travel Deal Tuesday, which happens after Cyber Monday, is also a part of Black Friday. Typically, we see the biggest travel deals on Tuesday, with savings up to 50% on flights, hotels, cars, cruises, etc. It's been rumored that there may be 1-way flights for under $20, and some Frontier flights will be 99% off. That’s ... insane.

In the meantime, you'll want to sign up for flight alerts on flights you're interested in. That way, if those flights go on sale, you'll be notified right away. You'll also want to start thinking about where or when you want to travel. It's important to note that a lot of the travel deals you'll get on Black Friday and Travel Deal Tuesday are for winter/early spring travel. You probably won't have a ton of time to save for your trip, but you'll be getting giant discounts, so it balances out, right?

The most important thing you can do to prep for Black Friday travel deals in 2019 is to keep a personalized list of deals that you think you might want to take advantage of. Complete your list and leave it next to your computer for easy access on Travel Deal Tuesday.
