These days, there's a "moon" for everything. A honeymoon to celebrate your wedding, a babymoon to celebrate your new child, a couplemoon to celebrate a rekindling of the flame... and I'm sure the list goes on.
No matter what type of "moon" you're going on, you'll want romance, ease, comfort, and probably a dash of luxury - I mean, it is a celebration, right?
Now, I totally recognize that my "dash of luxury" is the average person's "extra as f***", but it's a CELEBRATION, people! So, buckle up cause it's time to get EXTRA AS F***!
1. Jade Mountain, St. Lucia
Jade Mountain Resort is well known and highly recommended by travelers and travel magazines. This resort has won many, many, many awards - for good reason. The all-inclusive packages include your room (obviously), transportation to and from the airport, spa treatments, meals, drinks, activities, and more. You'll have access to kayaking, snorkeling, yoga, windsurfing, sailing, biking, tennis, hiking, scuba diving, and beautiful beaches. They also offer excursions, including taking a mud bath or walking through the botanical gardens - in other words, it will be REALLY hard for you to get bored. Depending on the dates and the package you choose, you can expect to be paying around $1500-$4000 a night.
2. Gili Lankanfushi Resort, Maldives
These villas are spacious, with an open-air layout - meaning you'll get more than enough fresh air on your honeymoon. The overwater sundeck has a catamaran net, lounge chairs, and a daybed for peak relaxation. Gili Lankanfushi Resort offers a spa, a library, an ocean dive center, a cinema, shops, a garden, a pool table, a gym, a yoga facility, and even a popsicle an ice cream bar. They also offer a cooking class - if you need to give your significant other a little hint. Just like other hotels, the prices will vary based on the dates and villa you pick. It's usually around $1,000- $2,000 per night.

3. Lani's Suites de Luxe, Spain
Lani's Suites de Luxe Resort is meant for couples looking to get some serious relaxation on their honeymoon. The website doesn't list any excursions or activities, but there's plenty of pools, views, and high-end dining. You and your hubby can spend the morning on the beach, and the rest of the day sipping champagne and getting massages in the comfort of your own suite. Normally, these rooms range from $500-$1500 a night.
4. The Kayon Resort, Indonesia
Starting at around $400/night, this resort is a perfect fit for luxury lovers on a budget. With activities like daily yoga, walks through nature, cycling tours, afternoon teas, temple visits and private tours, you can be sure to find true peace during your trip. This resort is located in a forest reserve, so you'll have more than enough privacy. The Kayon Resort also offers a honeymoon package, which includes wine, massages, complimentary breakfast, and more.
5. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, Aruba
Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is unique. They make it crystal clear that their intention is to be a peaceful, relaxing, romantic getaway. They've got a SandBar, movies on the beach, cooking class, sunrise beach walk tour, tai chi, yoga, beach tennis, yoga, meditation, and more. But what really sets them apart - at least, in my mind - is that friends and family can send you a gift (wine, flowers, etc.) through the resort. Prices vary based on the rooms and amenities you choose to include, but according to travelers, it's similarly priced to the others on this list.
