Hundreds of thousands of people have signed a petition to raid Area 51, where it's believed the government has a boatload of information on aliens - and maybe even some actual aliens (I guess we'll find out after the raid).
But, before we all show up to meet our new alien friends, we need to educate ourselves about them and their history. I mean, there's just so many rumors - are their heads really that big? Are their fingers that skinny? Do they really keep kidnapping us without anyone noticing? What kind of technology do they have? Are they physically more like humans, or more like E.T.? Honestly, all we know is what we've seen in movies ... created by humans.
I mean, we at least owe them the respect of doing our homework.
Trust me, there's a lot more to this than you think.
And a lot of it is nestled in lil ole Roswell, New Mexico.
As you can see, there's aliens all over the city. Many of them in completely unexpected places - like random fences, yards, store fronts, on top of billboards, and basically anywhere else you could possibly put an alien. Granted, they aren't real aliens, but I feel like it's a great way for us to communicate with aliens that we come in peace.
And honestly, I respect and admire the dedication of an entire city.
But the real gem here? The International UFO Museum and Research Center.
I found myself driving through Roswell, noticing all these little aliens, and thinking, "Wow. These people really like aliens". And when I rolled past the museum, everything made sense. Needless to say, I lost all form of self control. I pulled over in the middle of a 10 hour drive to spend 2 hours diving into all of the stories, pictures, and other evidence.
I won't even lie, I walked out a believer. Then again, I also walked in a believer... so.
The museum has life size statues of aliens, photographs and videos of UFOs, newspaper clippings from years past, and pretty much anything and everything you could hope for in an alien museum.
I won't give away too much, because this is definitely one of those things that you've got to see to believe. But I will say that I highly recommend International UFO Museum and Research Center.
